ERP Go-Live for Finnish High-Tech Manufacturer Following M&A Integration

HAND Europe is pleased to announce the successful go-live of a full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation for a leading Finnish company in the advanced materials and coating equipment sector. The project forms part of a post-acquisition IT integration initiative, following the client’s inclusion into a new corporate ownership structure.

As part of the newly acquired group, the Finnish subsidiary needed to align rapidly with the parent company’s IT and operational framework while maintaining uninterrupted production and global customer support. The implementation addressed core areas including sales, procurement, finance, inventory, and project operations—within an environment characterized by complex manufacturing workflows and highly specialized BOMs.

Despite the condensed timeline and demanding localization requirements, the project went live on schedule. HAND consultants collaborated closely with both local stakeholders in Finland and global teams to ensure system stability and seamless transition. This go-live marks an important step in aligning the subsidiary with the group’s digital architecture and operational standards.
